Treasure Coast Classical Academy, Inc. (the “School”), a public charter school, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for food service management. The full scope of work requested may be reviewed in Exhibit A.
Questions with Replies.
- On 1.2 of the RFP, it states that proposals will be publicly opened at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 13th. On Timeline 1.3, it states that proposal submissions will be publicly open on July 14th at 12:00 pm. Please clarify.
1. This should have been removed: “Responses will be publicly opened at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2025. to be evaluated per the criteria specified in subsection 1.4, below.”
IT WILL BE opened on July 14th at 12:00 pm noon
- Please provide either your annual recap of paid, free, and reduced meals served or give as many monthly claims reports for the last school year as possible. This is needed to verify the 50% participation stated on the RFP.

- Treasure Coast currently has a staff of three people preparing, cooking, and serving the students every day. Based on the current participation, the industry standard would be to staff this with two people, meaning other vendors would have two people in the kitchen. If it is staffed with two people and one calls out, they would be forced to use an alternate menu item and/or provide poor service. Would you like to establish a minimum staffing schedule that includes three positions?
3 Yes, please specify and submit detailed staffing plans for three staff people.
